  1. 1. Zulay has mobility problems (she's disabled). Her husband is unemployed and they have a son. She works in a call centre but has a small wage. They can't afford the high rents in Barcelona.
    2. It belongs to a bank.
    3. They had no other choice. The waiting lists for social housing are very long.
    4. They had to pay 850 euros for the keys (someone changed the lock for them).
    5. The bank has taken them to court but an eviction order can take years. Anyway, they can't sleep in the street (especially Zulay).
    6. They lost their jobs and homes (they couldn't pay their mortgage).
    7. 90,000
    8. They feel angry and not protected. It's not considered a serious crime. They think laws protect these mafias and it's difficult to get these people evicted.
    9. To deal with the local authorities and face legal proceedings.
    10. The government. Because they have always persuaded people to buy houses and there are not enough houses to rent.
    11. They are slowly renovating their run-down apartment.
    12. She's scared. The police could come and evict them. She feels like a criminal.
